Orgo · Operating Playbook
Edition Q2 FY26
Chapter 06 · How I'd plan capacity

Partnership Cycle Length by Segment

Each Orgo partner segment has a different clock. I'd plan headcount and pipeline coverage against these timelines, and I'd match outbound timing to the partner's planning window, not ours.

Section 1

The clocks I'd plan against

Travel Sports Leagues
60–90 days.
One decision-maker, no procurement, no software purchase. Moves fast if pain is urgent. Closing window: off-season planning.
Multi-Sport Rec Depts
60–120 days.
Multiple stakeholders. Board meetings. Slower partnership cycle but a much larger family base under one rollout.
School Athletic Depts
90–180 days.
School board signoff on anything family-facing. Spring planning cycles. Enter at summer planning or skip the cycle entirely.
Training Academies
60–90 days.
Owner/manager is decision-maker. More agile. Closes fast when pain is clear.
Tournament Operators
30–60 days.
Time-sensitive. Need a solution before the season. Closing window is tight. Get in early.
Rule
I'd match each sequence to the segment's clock and enter at the right point in their cycle, not when it's convenient for us.
